Doug Britt

Chief Executive Officer

Doug Britt is the Chief Executive Officer of Boyd with more than 30 years of experience leading global strategic initiatives, driving commercial success, managing complex operations, and catalyzing growth across many businesses. His focus is to further advance Boyd’s leading position in strategic end markets and continue to deepen and broaden capabilities, technology, and innovation to best serve customers.

Doug most recently served as President of the Integrated Solutions division of FLEX, a +$20 billion business unit that combines Industrial and Emerging Industries (IEI), Communications and Enterprise Compute (CEC), and Consumer Technologies Groups (CTG). FLEX is a $25 billion global provider of design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions with approximately 180,000 employees in 30 countries. Prior to joining FLEX, Doug served as Corporate Vice President for Future Electronics responsible for managing sales, engineering, and operations, and accountable for profit and loss of Future’s largest business. He was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Operations at Silicon Graphics and the Executive Vice President responsible for sales, marketing, account, and program management at Solectron.

Eric Struik

Chief Financial Officer

Eric Struik is Boyd’s Chief Financial Officer. Eric leads Boyd’s global finance, accounting, treasury, supply chain, and information technology teams.

Eric brings more than 25 years of global finance and accounting experience to Boyd. Prior to joining Boyd, Eric served as the Chief Financial Officer of Erickson Incorporated, a leading global provider of aviation services that operates, maintains, and manufactures utility aircraft. Prior to Erickson, he was the Vice President of Finance for Remy International, where he led Remy’s financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, and investor relations, as well as Remy’s NASDAQ listing in 2012. He has also served as Callaway Golf’s Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations. Early in his career he developed a deep and varied background in managing financial operations for global manufacturing businesses having held positions with Visteon, Lear, and Chrysler.

His areas of expertise include Financial Planning and Strategy, Operations Finance, Global Manufacturing and Services Businesses, Treasury, Cash Management, Accounting, SEC Reporting, Investor Relations, Capital Markets Transactions, Acquisition Diligence, Financing and Integration, Divestitures, Financial Modeling and Valuation, Competitive Analysis, P&L Management, Restructuring and Turnarounds, Global Team Management, Private Equity, Process Improvement, Internal Controls and S-Ox Compliance.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University. He holds financial certifications including Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified in Financial Management (CFM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

David Huang

President, Thermal Solutions Division and Asia Pacific

David is responsible for all aspects of Boyd’s Thermal business, including strategy, operations, product design, field application engineering, and product sales specialists. David also leads Boyd’s Asia Pacific overall operations and business development.

David joined Boyd in 2017 through its acquisition of Aavid Thermalloy, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of its Telecom and Consumer business division.

His areas of expertise include P&L management, private-equity-sponsored company leadership, product development, engineering management, global multi-national account penetration and management, contract negotiation, global manufacturing and supply chain management, and cross-functional team leading. Through extensive experience in the global telecom thermal market, David developed a strong understanding of semiconductor development, telecommunications, process engineering, and lean manufacturing.

David holds a Master of Business from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Management from Hefei Institute of Technology in China.

Michael Sutsko

President, Engineered Materials Division

Michael Sutsko is the President of Boyd’s Engineered Materials Division. Michael is responsible for all aspects of the Engineered Materials business, including strategy, operations, product design, field application engineering and products sales specialists.

Michael brings to Boyd over 30 years of experience in strategy development; driving new technology; high growth sales and business development; complex operations management; and mergers and acquisitions all with extensive global experience. Prior to joining Boyd, Michael was Chief Executive Officer for Dialight, a leading industrial LED lighting manufacturer based in New Jersey; President of Laird’s Performance Materials Division based in London and Hong Kong; and Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for GE Advanced Materials / Momentive. He has held earlier career positions at Halma, Porex and W.L. Gore.

Michael has a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Widener University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he has extended graduate education in strategy from both Harvard and Wharton business schools and holds several patents.

Shammy Khan

Chief Commercial Officer

Shammy Khan is Boyd’s Chief Commercial Officer responsible for customer engagements across all large customers and global commercial business segments, including e-Mobility and Transportation, Enterprise, Industrial, Medical as well as the Sales Operations function.

Shammy Khan joined Boyd in 2020.  Shammy Khan has more than 25 years in public and private companies. Prior to Joining Boyd, Shammy was SVP at Flextronics a global fortune 200 company and was responsible for managing and leading a $10B P & L and driving new business growth in several new markets each of which today has more than $1B in revenue.

Prior to Flex, Shammy was in the Semiconductor, Electronics and Aerospace industries. His areas of expertise include Business Development, Strategy, Supply chain, Product development, and P & L Management.  Shammy has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Southern California and a MBA from the Southern Methodist University. He has also completed executive leadership programs at both Wharton Business School and Stanford University.

Jeremiah (“JJ”) Shives

Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, Secretary

Jeremiah (“JJ”) Shives is Boyd’s Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Secretary responsible for leading Boyd’s global Legal, Human Resources, Compliance and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) teams.

With more than 25 years of broad multi-disciplinary experience with public and private companies of various scale, JJ brings a unique perspective to managing complex global legal and corporate matters. Before joining Boyd, JJ was the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for BorgWarner, Inc., a public Fortune 250 global automotive company. Prior to that, JJ lived and worked in Europe for 3 years as BorgWarner’s General Counsel – Europe and held roles of increasing responsibility in Legal, Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain across 16+ years with Remy International, Inc.

His areas of expertise include international business and legal strategy, global talent management, human resources organizational performance, change management, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial contracts and ESG.

JJ received a Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Dr. Kevin Kettler

Chief Transformation Officer

Dr. Kevin Kettler is Boyd’s Chief Transformation Officer. He has responsibility for Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Corporate Strategy for Boyd. He is responsible for developing technology roadmaps strategically aligned to anticipated market needs, assuring Boyd’s continued innovation and leadership in thermal systems and engineered material solutions.

Prior to joining Boyd, Dr. Kettler was the Corporate CTO at Flex where he focused on developing consistent development strategies across the varied business units. In addition to the CTO role, he led teams focused on strategic silicon supplier relationships, software development, autonomous vehicle development, business strategy, marketing, and sales operations.

Dr. Kettler worked for 13 years at Dell, 8 of those years as Dell’s Corporate CTO. He was responsible for the design, development, and performance analysis of core architectures for Dell’s product portfolio. Prior to joining Dell, he worked at IBM, holding various positions supporting or developing personal computer systems. He also holds several patents on computer design.

His areas of expertise include Strategy, Product and Roadmap Development, Engineering Process, Intellectual Property Development and Management, Deep Market Insights, Technology Management, Outbound Market Messaging, P&L Management, M&A, Strategic Supply Chain Relationships, Manufacturing Technology, and Transformational Leadership. He has deep technical knowledge in Autonomous Vehicle, Cloud, Consumer, Enterprise, Medical, and 5G Markets.

Dr. Kettler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Science and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

 

Jerry Toth

Chief Technology Officer

Jerry Toth is responsible for leading R&D and product design/development activities across the global organization.

With a 30+ year career in thermal management and electronics cooling, Jerry has creatively and pragmatically pioneered the development of new technologies and successfully moved those next generation solutions into the market. Jerry has sixteen US patents in the areas of heat pipes and electronics cooling.

His areas of technical expertise include design of thermal management solutions, with an emphasis on heat pipes, vapor chambers and advanced materials. Combining these technical capabilities with strong management and P&L skills, he has demonstrated the ability to effectively direct leading-edge technical organizations, leading them to cost effectively and efficiently apply advanced solutions to commercial applications, creating value added products for customers.

Jerry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. Prior to assuming this role Jerry was the President and CEO of Thermacore, Inc.

Sunny Kantha

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Sunny Kantha is Boyd’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, responsible for leading global M&A, strategy, and key strategic initiatives.

Working closely with Boyd’s Commercial, R&D and Manufacturing teams, he is focused on identifying and executing strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities to accelerate Boyd’s growth, expand capabilities, and deepen leadership with customers across many end markets.

Prior to joining Boyd, Sunny served as the Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy at Quotient Technology (formerly Coupons.com), where he sourced, executed and integrated many successful acquisitions and key strategic partnerships, substantially growing Quotient’s revenue and addressable market over his 5+ year tenure. He was previously a VC & Growth Equity investor at Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), a $9.5Bn Silicon Valley VC fund, where he was responsible for identifying and executing potential investments across SaaS/software, IT infrastructure and tech-enabled services. Prior to NVP, he was a clean energy-focused investor at MissionPoint Capital and, prior to that, an investment banker on the Global Industrials team at Morgan Stanley in New York.

Sunny holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, where he served on the Board of Trustees and remains actively involved.

Flavio Magalhaes

Senior Vice President, Engineered Materials Global Operations and Chief Integration Officer

Flavio Magalhaes is Boyd’s Chief Integration Officer. He is responsible for implementing segment expansion strategy and delivering financial results, customer satisfaction and employment engagement throughout all Engineered Material sites worldwide. He is also responsible for integrating Boyd’s future acquisition sites.

Flavio has more than 25 years of global experience. Before Boyd, Flavio was part of the extended leadership team at Flex Ltd., a $25B global provider of design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions. Most recently, Flavio served as Senior Vice-President of Operations for the Americas. He managed 15 facilities and 35,000 employees across North and South America.

He drives continuous operational improvements through lean principles, workforce empowerment, and the use of industry 4.0 concepts.

Flavio earned a mechanical engineering degree from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME, Brazil) and attended several technical and executive education programs at Berkeley, Stanford, and MIT.

His areas of expertise include Global Manufacturing, Lean/Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Footprint Transition Leadership, Acquisition Diligence and Integration, Organizational Management, Multiple Greenfield Implementations.

Joop Ruijgrok

Senior Vice President, Managing Director of EMEA

Joop Ruijgrok has leadership responsibility for Boyd’s European region. He manages all commercial, operations, and M&A for the European region in support of Boyd’s Thermal Solutions and Engineered Materials Divisions.

Joop has over 30 years of sales and general management experience with leading computing and electronics manufacturing companies. Prior to joining Boyd, Joop was President of the Lifestyle business for Flex, one of the leading global EMS companies. Prior to his role as President, Joop managed the EMEA region for Flex. Prior to Flex, Joop held commercial leadership roles at Silicon Graphics, Solectron, and Compaq. Joop has extensive regional leadership experience, driving commercial activities, operations, supply chain and M&A for the European region.

Joop received a Bachelor’s degree in law and a Master’s degree in business from Leiden University.

Nikhil Sud

Chief Information Officer

Nikhil Sud is Boyd’s Chief Information Officer. Nikhil is responsible for driving Boyd’s corporate global information technology strategy and business process improvement initiatives, including implementing innovative IT systems and tools to streamline organization collaboration and improve effectiveness.

Prior to joining Boyd, Nikhil held several leadership and strategic roles including 8 years as Chief Information Officer for Remy International, a global Tier 1 automotive manufacturer. He has led several IT and business transformation programs across manufacturing and retail sectors. Early in his career, he served as a technology consultant across India and the United States.

His areas of expertise include information technology strategy implementation, M&A, leveraging technology to drive business process improvement, leading major business system programs, and driving cost efficiencies.

Amie Jeffries is the Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Boyd. Amie is responsible for Boyd’s marketing strategy, demand generation, brand management, internal and external communications, market and competitor intelligence, and digital strategy.

She has refined Boyd’s value proposition and public image as it has evolved throughout the company’s continued transformative organic and inorganic growth. She has led marketing and brand integration for more than twenty Boyd mergers and acquisitions.

Her areas of expertise include digital strategy, marketing communication, omni-channel lead generation and prospecting, brand management and integration, sales enablement, market and competitive intelligence, content strategy, M&A integration, global business development, contract management and negotiation, team leadership, corporate training and employee development, public speaking, budgeting, and budget management, thought leadership positioning, technical writing, and creative design.

Amie earned her Bachelor of Science and MBA from California State University, Stanislaus in Marketing and studied Aeronautical and Industrial Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Jack Monti

Vice President of Corporate Tax and Treasury

Jack Monti is the Vice President of Corporate Tax and Treasury for Boyd. Jack leads Boyd’s treasury, tax, and risk management functions.

Jack’s corporate finance experience spans over 20 years in technology, automotive, and financial service industries including ten years on Wall Street. He has led investor relations, executed complex acquisition integration and divestiture separation transactions, and managed twenty corporate development transactions. Prior to Boyd, Jack held key roles at Rogers Corporation, Delphi Automotive, UBS, and Lehman Brothers.

His areas of expertise include treasury, liquidity and cash management, risk management, hedging and insurance, capital structure, debt, tax and tax strategy, transfer pricing, capital markets, investor relations, corporate strategy and development, M&A, entity consolidation, FP&A, investment research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and valuation.

Jack earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan, is a CFA Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Institute of New York.

Jen Wall

Vice President, Corporate Controller

Jen Wall is Vice President, Corporate Controller for Boyd. Jen is responsible for Boyd’s global accounting policies, procedures, and practices including month-end and annual accounting close and consolidation, financial reporting, internal controls, external audits, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) integration, acquisition accounting integration, M&A valuations, and purchase accounting.

Jen brings to Boyd over 25 years of accounting experience. Prior to Boyd, Jen was the Vice President of Finance for Royal Robbins and previously the Corporate Controller for 5.11 Inc. She has held a variety of accounting roles with increasing responsibility at companies spanning the software, automotive, and apparel industries. Her diverse accounting experience includes ten years with publicly traded companies, thirteen years in private equity, and four years as an accounting auditor.

Her areas of expertise include managing external global audits and compliance, financial reporting and consolidation, and acquisition diligence and integration.

Jen earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of San Francisco in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
